Our main reasons for starting a this organization was due to a great need to improve learning as well as increase the attention span of the youth, adolescence, adult and aged.
Our vision of building a society that will work hand in hand and take the initiative to assist and take care of their own community as well as in the broader spectrum.
One of our focuses is zoomed in where a lack of daily nutritious meals for growing children is a reality in South Africa's previously disadvantaged areas. We want to prevent children from being malnourished and ensure them becoming more active, nourished and healthy, also slowing opportunistic HIV infections, TB and other ailments that infiltrate these areas.
Poverty, scarcity call it what you may, it stays one of our biggest challenges in life today. It leaves the majority of our population in despondency and helplessness. Where a single meal every second day is called a blessing, a slice of bread a luxury and hungry faces a reality.
The feeding scheme creates opportunity to uplift mentally and spiritually and will increase the will for life and survival. It forms the basis for our other projects namely job creation and adult schooling in various sectors where possible.
CUP’s are currently feeding families in the squatter camps and families in and around the community who is in need of food, and this so far have been accomplished by donations from ourselves and poor people within our community who feel that they can make a difference.
